Grenda/Meredith

RICHMOND, Va. --Natalie Grenda, Virginia Beach, and Cla Meredith, Richmond, were joined in marriage on Nov. 22, 2008, in the Italian Gardens at Maymont Park in Richmond.

 

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Pam Grenda, Virginia Beach, and formerly of Ironwood, Mich. She is the granddaughter of Wallace and Nancy Magdziak and Donald and Ruth Grenda, all of Ironwood. She is a 2004 graduate of Kellam High School Virginia Beach.

 

The groom is the son of Olise and Janice Meredith, Matoaca. He is the grandson of Era and William Walker and Margaret and Olise Meredith Sr. all of Matoaca. He is a 2001 graduate of Meadowbrook High School in Richmond and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a pitcher for the San Diego Padres Major League Baseball team.

 

The maid of honor was Sarah Giesler. Bridemaids were Emily Grenda, sister of the bride, Heather Stokes, Tracie Cannon and Megan Brown.

 

Flower girls were Erin and Meredith McCaffrey and Layla Austin, nieces of the groom.

 

The best man was Olise Claiborne Meredith Jr., father of the groom.

 

Groomsmen were Jason Wawrzyniak, Bradley Ruckart, Justin Tatro and Deron Mason.

 

Ring bearer was Brenan McCaffrey, nephew of the groom.

 

Dinner and reception was held in the Garden Hall at Maymont Park.

 

The couple will reside in Richmond.
